Waterways is one of Melbourne's newer residential communities — a planned estate west of Patterson Lakes that has attracted a primarily young family demographic. As with any suburb where dual-income households and young children are the norm, we see a predictable mix of desk-worker musculoskeletal complaints, postpartum recovery presentations, and sport-and-activity related injuries in parents and older children alike.
Elevate Health Care is located at Suite 30 (Level 1), 93 Wells Road, Chelsea Heights — approximately seven minutes by car via Springvale Road south to Wells Road. Allow 60 minutes for your first appointment, with treatment starting at visit one.
Who We See
We regularly see Waterways patients with lower back and sacroiliac pain from prolonged sitting, neck and shoulder tension from desk work and infant care, hip and pelvic complaints in postpartum presentations, and knee and ankle problems from recreational exercise. Our assessment considers the fascial load environment — often revealing that the painful structure is not where the problem started.

Getting Here from Waterways
Waterways is most easily reached by car — head south on Springvale Road to Wells Road (Chelsea Heights Hotel is on the corner), then turn right (west); the clinic is approximately 500m on your right. There is no direct train access from the estate; the nearest station is Carrum, from which the clinic is a short rideshare away. Free parking is available at the building.
Our Approach
Elevate Health Care combines chiropractic assessment and treatment with Stecco Fascial Manipulation — a systematic, evidence-informed method for identifying and treating the fascial system. Where standard assessments focus on the painful structure, our assessment looks at the mechanical and fascial environment that surrounds it.
This means a 45–60 minute initial consultation, a clear explanation of our findings, and a treatment plan grounded in your presentation rather than a fixed protocol. Dr Steven Hewitt (AHPRA: CHI0001115420) has been in chiropractic practice for 23 years, graduating from RMIT University in 2003.
